We are seeking our first Technical Account Manager to help us build the Technical Account management function at Pomerium. We will be looking for someone who is proactive and comfortable starting this discipline from scratch. In this role, you will manage the resolution of customers' technical service and infrastructure issues related to Pomerium's products. You will work closely with our customers to ensure they achieve their goals and use our technology to its fullest potential.
Customer Engagement: Work with customers using a variety of media (phone, email, on-site) to manage the Premium Support relationship.
Implementation Support: Collaborate with the Field Sales Team to ensure that Pomerium products and services are deployed in a manageable and supportable way.
Technical Assistance: Assist the Support team by taking support escalations and providing occasional support.
On-Call Duty: Be available for on-call duty to address important customer issues during non-operational hours.
Communication: Establish communication channels between premium customers and internal teams.
Training: Provide on-site and virtual product training to Premium Support customers.
Product Feedback: Monitor reporting information and policy configurations at customer sites, offering ongoing recommendations.
Feedback Loop: Provide valuable product feedback to Pomerium Product Management based on customer requirements.
5+ years of account management experience, including pre-and post-sales responsibilities.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and other Cloud Native applications
Knowledge of standard methodologies: monitoring, alerting, metrics
Strong written communication and collaboration skills
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure environments
Comfort working as part of a fully remote team
Experience successfully delivering on a remote team
Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and other IAM technologies
Experience with Envoy
Experience with relational databases
Experience building gRPC and REST based services
